Home is where the books are

Welcome to my book blog!

For those who are new, welcome. For those who are old I’m sorry that I keep changing everything. I still haven’t quite decided what I want this to be. But for now, I’ve decided that I hated how formal and boring my homepage looked. So I’m trying to make it seem less stiff an more welcoming, because I need a little bit of that in my life.

So! To business: I don’t post very often. My posts will never be the same. Sometimes it will be personal goals, sometimes it will be rants about things, sometimes it will be book reviews. Really it’s just a place where I can get the swirling thoughts trapped in my brain out in a healthy manner. So none of this is edited unless a link is broken or something technical is going on.

I do have ads associated with this, I’m not really sure why. I don’t make any money from any of the posts or reviews. So I have created a Ko-Fi account with a link in the side bar or in my Linktree below this will act as a sort of tip jar. I can also add things to the store or start taking commissions if I want to but I don’t know what I would have in that section.

Full Site: The side-bar on the right contains all of the information needed to find posts by topic, by date, and by subscription. The side-bar on the left of the screen contains all of my social media updates. All of the pages across the top will take you to my book recommendations, a list of what I’m currently reading, my posts, and my writing projects.

Mobile Site: Welcome to the homepage! If you click on the menu button at the top right you’ll find all of the different pages I have set up. Amazing Books, Currently Reading, Posts, and Projects. If you scroll to the bottom you’ll see my Goodreads reading goal, Currently Reading list updates, and Project progress bars.

My name is Amy, I have a Bachelor’s in Chemistry, but chose to work at a bookstore instead. If I post it’s because I finally have the energy to get out of my own brain.
